######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
  libsecondlife

System Group Name:
-----------------
  libsecondlife

Type:
-----
  Programs

License:
--------
  Modified BSD License

Description:
------------
libsecondlife is an open source library to allow software to access the
Second Life (http://www.secondlife.com/) world. Partnered with this project
is the Second Life Protocol documentation effort, which will be a
comprehensive wiki under the Free Documentation License describing the Second
Life network protocol. The wiki is available here:
http://labs.highenergychemistry.com/slprotocol/

Now that we have a complete protocol description, the next step is to convert
that description in to wiki-friendly text and complete the wiki, while
simultaneous starting on libsecondlife. Our goal is to create a
multi-threaded, object-oriented library to write a Second Life client of any
complexity.

We currently do not have any source code, as it's still in the design and
planning phase. You can take a look at the raw protocol documentation here:
http://labs.highenergychemistry.com/secondlife/snowcrash.txt

Other Software Required:
------------------------
The project will rely on libcurl+openssh, pthreads, and sigslot.
